Established in 1998, Tekweni Air CC, air-conditioning contractors and designers specializing in large and medium air conditioning and ventilation systems,  (airconditioning, ventilation, heating, process cooling, steam reticulation and refrigeration engineering experience) within Southern and Central Africa. As a contracting company we have the facilities to offer the following services.

Preparation of full working drawings for both engineering and architectural approval. Preparation of equipment submission lists and contract programmes. Financial backing to guarantees of up to R35,500,000 per contract value. Public Liability insurance up to the value of R2,000,000, or further if required. Types of air conditioning systems previously installed by our company are as follows:   Air cooled direct expansion. Water cooled direct expansion. Chilled water systems incorporating both water cooled and evaporative coolant systems. Constant and variable volume systems. Close control systems utilising both air and water cooled systems. Terminal reheat and battery reheat systems using electric, hot water and both primary and secondary steam heating systems, including the engineering selection of calorifiers, condensate tanks and pumping systems. Cold/freezer room applications. Our service extends throughout the contracting period i.e. the preparation of equipment buying schedules for engineers approval. Preparation of computer Financial accounts and projected cash flow analysis. Preparation of "as built" drawings, independent commissioning results and the preparation of "operating and maintenance manuals to the clients satisfaction". In addition to our contracting staff, we also include a complete team of service/breakdown staff who are on a 24 hour standby via pager and cellphone.

In the last three years the company has formed close associations with two companies - Aster International of Milan, Italy and Airvent CC, and is currently working with both companies in the form of joint ventures. Tekweni Air CC will continue to probe bigger markets within the years to come, without compromising our original philosophy of providing efficiency, technical expertise and service, irrespective of whatever long term company position we manage to achieve. Tekweni Air CC utilises a sophisticated CAD design department for all project requirements. Our work profile includes, but is not limited to hospital work, hotels, shopping centres, office blocks, computer rooms, factory areas, museums/ constant temperature areas, dust/ starch collection systems.
